Want to secure your spot at a top UK medical (or dental) school?

Master the UCAT in 5 Weeks!

This popular course follows on from the free group webinar, and consists of a 5-lesson series of group lessons prepared by the UK's highest-scoring UCAT tutor!

This course is reintroduced after the immense success of group and 1-1 students in the previous admissions cycle (student scores include: 3340🤩, 3120, 3080, 3060 & university placements including Oxford/Cambridge/Imperial/UCL/KCL).

Lessons will be run on:

4-5 PM: Saturday, 6th April - Verbal Reasoning

4-5 PM: Saturday, 13th April - Decision Making

4-5 PM: Saturday, 27th April - Quantitative Reasoning

4-5 PM: Saturday, 4th May - Abstract Reasoning

4-5 PM: Saturday, 11th May - Situational Judgement

Medify/Medentry - are they still recommended?

Yes - MyUCAT lessons only demonstrate strategies with a small number of question examples. It is essential to also be practising more questions in addition to these lessons, so that you can actually put any strategies we teach into practice!

Everyone should use the UCAT official question bank (this is made by the people who write the exam)! But that doesn't have a massive number of questions, and it's probable that you'll finish this relatively quickly.

You may want to start off by getting additional questions from free sources like: Passmedicine, PMT Tutor. However, besides the UCAT website, the best two question banks tend to be Medentry & Medify in terms of both the number of questions and representation of the real exam. I would recommend investing in at least one of these two at some point, probably a couple of months before your UCAT date.

This is a picture of the Oxford central library: note that all UK medical and dental schools, including Oxbridge, have now confirmed that the UCAT will be replacing the BMAT for undergraduate admissions.

Please do read the article linked above - my intention is not to scare anyone, but note that a strong performance in the UCAT this year is even more important than in previous years. The time allocated to preparation should reflect this accordingly (whether that be with MyUCAT or elsewhere).

UCAT 1-1

Between the day-long free webinar, and these subsequent section-specific sessions, I do plan to get through strategies for all of the different question types in a group format. However, if you have particular areas of weakness that you would like to focus on in more depth, or id you would prefer a slightly personalised approach, feel free to also sign up for some 1-1 sessions as below.

I (Ojas) prepare resources & lesson plans. I've also collected some of the highest-scoring UCAT tutors ever at MyUCAT: you can be confident that your tutors know exactly what you need to do to secure a 3000+ score: they've done it before!
